Luna: AI Candid Photos ("Luna", "we", "our", or "us") is operated by Truls Nygaard. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

• Photos you upload: You upload photos of yourself to generate AI images. These are sent to OpenAI's API for image generation and are not stored permanently on our servers.
• Account information: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to identify your session. We store an anonymous user ID; we do not collect your name or email address.
• Purchase history: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and credit purchases. Purchase data is used to unlock features, manage your credits, and measure the performance of our advertising.
• Usage data: We collect analytics via Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it.
• Crash and performance data: Collected via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs and improve stability.
• Device and app-event data: When you install and use Luna, the Meta (Facebook) SDK and the TikTok Business SDK receive limited technical data, such as an app-specific device identifier, IP address, app installs, app launches, and in-app purchases. This is used to measure how well our ads perform. Luna does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites, so this data is used only for aggregated ad measurement.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data to operate the app (generating your photos, managing your account, processing purchases, and improving the product) and to measure the performance of our advertising. We do not sell your data.

Third-Party Services

Luna uses the following third-party services:

• OpenAI: AI image generation. OpenAI may retain uploaded images for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring. Your photos are not used to train OpenAI's models.
• Firebase (Google): Authentication, storage, analytics, crash reporting
• RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management
• Meta Platforms (Facebook): Ad measurement and app analytics
• TikTok: Ad measurement and app analytics

Data Retention

Your uploaded photos are used for generation and not retained long-term. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the Profile tab in the app.
