Luna: AI Candid Photos ("Luna", "we", "our", or "us") is operated by Truls Nygaard. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

• Photos you upload: You upload photos of yourself to generate AI images. These are sent to OpenAI's API for image generation and are not stored permanently on our servers.
• Account information: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to identify your session. If you create an account, we store a user ID.
• Purchase history: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and credit purchases. Purchase data is used solely to unlock features and manage your credits.
• Usage data: We collect anonymized analytics via Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it.
• Crash and performance data: Collected via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs and improve stability.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to operate the app — generating your photos, managing your account, processing purchases, and improving the product. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-Party Services

Luna uses the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — AI image generation. OpenAI may retain uploaded images for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring. Your photos are not used to train OpenAI's models.
• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, storage, analytics, crash reporting
• RevenueCat — Subscription and purchase management

Data Retention

Your uploaded photos are used for generation and not retained long-term. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the Profile tab in the app.

Children's Privacy

Luna is not intended for users under the age of 17.
